Collage was founded in 2005 as a creative learning center to offer multi-disciplinary programs and activities in the fields of  language learning, dance, yoga and the arts.
Collage was created to offer a creative learning environment that we felt was missing in Barcelona.


 
Emilie Delcourt is from North Carolina, USA and she completed her undergraduate studies in community building through the arts from Haverford College, Phildelphia, where she concentrated on working with children and teenagers. She has complimentary studies in ESL work with children through Theatre and Fine Arts. She has worked with children for 10 years, the last five in Barcelona, teaching English through art. She has also taught private and group English classes to adults for the past five years. She has an extensive background in the arts, including theatre and creative writing as well as sports and movement with children.

Kate Simer,
California, USA, is an ESL educator who studied English literature and creative writing at Portland State University. In 2002 she moved to Barcelona to study in an International Humanities program and later began to teach English to adults and children. As a teacher she discovered the benefits of using creativity as a tool to teach English to children and adults and founded Little Faces, an ESL arts program. She has extensive experience with children and has studied ESL education specializing in the arts, play and movement.
