COLLAGE ESTÀ OBERT PER CLASSES PRESENCIALS PER A TOTES LES EDATS!
THEATRE PROGRAMS
Our theatre programs are speaking-focused classes where theatre and movement inspire students to use English as a tool for creative expression. During the class we develop stories, play games in wacky costumes, sing songs and use puppets in an English immersion environment. Role-playing games and team story building stimulates students' imaginations and inspire children and teens to express themselves in English.
These classes give students the opportunity to deepen their language learning process, especially with regards to pronunciation, speech and comprehension.

This program is divided by age and language level to give students the optimal learning environment. Reading and writing is incorporated into this program in accordance to the students’ abilities and fluency in a natural way through their scripts.

We offer three different theatre programs adapted to the specific needs of each age group:

LITTLE ACTORS (1r - 5è)

TWEEN ACTORS (5è - 1r d'ESO)

TEEN ACTORS (2n - 4t d'ESO)

Please see below for more information on each of these programs or contact us if you have any questions.
LITTLE ACTORS
7 to 11 year olds (1r - 5è)

In these classes, our youngest actors primarily use theatre games to increase their English language comprehension and confidence with the language. Through fun, simple skits the kids practise speaking in full sentences and getting the repetition they need to acquire this knowledge without it feeling repetitive at all!

As the children begin to acquire more confidence in their English abilities we slowly begin to introduce more complex concepts, allowing them space to improvise or create scenes themselves. These groups still focus primarily on games to continue to acquire more language skills and vocab, while at the same time allowing ways for them to add on language they are learning.
Scripts are kept to a minimum so as not to create bad pronunciation habits when reading is introduced too early, however we do begin to use some scripts as we see these little stars begin to spread their acting wings!

TWEEN ACTORS
11 to 13 year olds (5è - 1r d'ESO)

Our Tween Actors lasses are based on the oral use of English, in which theater and stories motivate students to use the English language as a tool for their creative expression. By this age the children are ready to deepen their abilities and knowledge, and we encourage this through more complex skits, character studies, improv games and script building.
Reading and writing is introduced naturally through the development of short scripts, allowing the students to actively find their voice and interest and develop their acting abilities in an English-language immersion environment adapted to their age.
This class is an opportunity for children to delve deeper into their English language learning process as well as their theatrical skills and knowledge. Our focus is still on fluency and pronunciation, we will work on speech, comprehension, reading and writing which will culminate in the development of theatre shows to be performed to the families. And we sure have fun in the process!

TEEN ACTORS

This class is designed especially for teenagers who want to practice English through theater. The classes are entirely based on the oral use of English, in which theater and stories motivate students to use the English language as a tool for their creative expression and by doing so, they also work on their pronunciation, confidence and creative expression.

In the various sessions, we will develop scripts, play different theatrical games to work on expression and fluency, create and study characters and prepare plays for theatre performances (live or video) in an English-language immersion environment.

This class is an opportunity for students to delve deeper into their English language learning process as well as their theatrical skills and knowledge. We will work on speaking, comprehension, reading and writing, while also allowing them to express themselves and refine their acting tools. All of that while having fun!
